After proposing the project, we were lucky enough to be chosen as the recipient site of the 2013 Concord, NH Lowe’s Heroes Employee Volunteer project.  Check out our new garden and patio “before” and “in process” photos!

The Library Board of Trustees have adjusted the library’s schedule as follows:

• Tuesday 10am-6pm
• Wednesday 10am-3pm
• Thursday 10am-6pm
• Friday 10am-6pm
• Saturday 10am-3pm

This schedule takes effect August 6, 2013.

Do you use Goodreads?  Goodreads.com is a “social cataloging” site.  After creating a free account, you can keep track of books you’ve read (and your reviews of them) and books you want to read in the future.  You can also find out what your friends are reading and their review of books.  It’s a great way to learn about books and find out what to read next.

On the Library’s page you’ll be able to see the library’s new titles along with reviews from library staff.  We look forward to friending you!

The next meeting of the library trustees will be held on July 25, 2013 at 2pm at the Allenstown Public Library.  All are invited to attend.

Remember to stop by the library in the next few days and visit our Scholastic book fair.  The library receives a percentage of all sales, so you can pick up some great titles for summer reading AND help the library at the same time!

In addition, Saturday 6/29, 11am-2pm  is a special summer reading kickoff (weather permitting)!
