2019 Summer Reading Program – Begins June 18th!
How the Program Works
1. Children ages 0 to 14 with a library card can register for the Summer Reading Program. You may sign up for a card when you register.
2. You may register for the program beginning Tuesday, June 11th.
3. You’ll receive a logbook to record the titles of books you read this summer.
4. You’ll pick a reading goal to work towards during the summer.
5. Show us your progress in your logbook and get raffle tickets to enter into prize drawings!
6. We’ll be offering a variety of programs, giveaways, and contests all summer, so pick up a list of events and drop in as often as possible.
7. At the end of the program there will be a party featuring a traveling petting farm!

Raptor Rapture

Blind Date With a Book
This February why not try a Blind Date with a Book! Pick one of the beautifully wrapped books to check out. Inside every book is a Rate Your Date card, fill it out and return it with your book to be entered in a drawing to win a $25 Amazon Gift Certificate! The winner will be randomly drawn the first week of March, so come pick up your date soon!

Raptor Rapture
This February vacation come to the library and see Raptor Rapture presented by the NH Audubon McLane Center. Get up-close and personal with NH’s raptors. Look into an owl’s eyes, check out the talons of the red-tailed hawk, and learn about the efficient hunting techniques of these birds of prey. Learn the basic biology and lifestyle of these great birds of prey.
This event will be on February 28th at 1:00 pm and will feature a live bird. Participation is limited to 25 children so you must come to the library to register, call us at 485-7651, or contact us on Facebook!
