Due to a generous offer from TumbleBooks, we can now provide access to ebooks and audiobooks for ages kindergarten through teen. TumbleBooks’ databases are easy to use, and feature unlimited access from home with an internet connection. You can read as many books as you want, when you want, and on any device. There are no check-outs, holds, or bulky downloads. Books are available instantly, just use the links below.
If you are an Allenstown resident without a library card who would like access to ebooks and e-audiobooks you can sign up online for a library card!
Message us on Facebook or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Give us your full name, address, phone, and email. We will respond as quickly as we can and issue a library card number. That number can be used immediately to access books on Overdrive and Libby.

Due to an abundance of caution the Allenstown Public Library will be closed until further notice due to COVID-19. We thank you for your patience as we try to do what’s best for our community.
We encourage all of our patrons to make use of our online resources Libby and Overdrive. Patrons will still be able to check out e-books and e-audiobooks 24/7. Please disregard any automated late messages you receive, as no books will be due until we reopen. If you have any problems with Overdrive or Libby please message us through Facebook or send an email and we will fix the problem as soon as possible.
Hooray, it’s March! Allenstown Public Library will receive a $1 donation for every $2.50 Community Bag sold in March at the Hannaford store located at 73 Fort Eddy Road, Concord NH. Allenstown Public Library will also receive a $1 donation for every $2.50 GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Bag sold in March at the Shaw’s store located at 1328 Hooksett Road, Hooksett NH. Here are pictures of the displays in the stores. Shaw’s is near the customer service area and Hannaford’s is in the aisle behind the checkouts.

Have you heard the news? Allenstown Public Library has been selected as the beneficiary of the Hannaford Supermarkets Helps Reusable Bag Program! Each time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Hannaford at 73 Fort Eddy Road, Concord NH during the month of March we will receive a $1 donation!
The library is now able to provide notary services to the people of Allenstown! If you would like to use them please call the library to verify the notary will be available when you are planning to visit. Please bring a valid photo I.D. and do not pre-sign documents. Services are performed free of charge, but donations to the library are welcome.
