We have a new Art Exploration Backpack available for checkout! This backpack has paper to try origami, rocks to decorate with paint markers, and Spirographs to make fun designs. Stop by the library to check it out or to check out one of our many other Exploration Backpacks, such as Yoga, Birdwatching, or Weather Exploration!

Spice Club is back from its summer hiatus, and we have a Butterfly Pea Powder kit now available! Butterfly Pea Flowers are found in Southeast Asia, and this vibrant blue powder boasts a subtle, earthy flavor reminiscent of green tea. Try its color-changing magic in lemonade, cocktails, or baked goods. Check out one of the recipes in the kit below!

Today is the first day of September, which means it is our first day benefiting from the Hannaford Bloomin’ 4 Good Program! Starting today and for the entire month of September, our organization will receive a $1 donation for every Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker purchased at the Hannaford located at 73 Fort Eddy Road, Concord NH.

Flowers can make someone’s day, spread smiles, and brighten up a room. This month, they can also help the Allenstown Public Library serve someone in need. Why not purchase two, three, or even four bouquets this month?

Summer Reading is officially over, but we went out with a fantastic petting zoo! Thank you so much to New England Party Animals for an amazing time! Everyone had so much fun!
